FAQs for our NM Summer Wedding Expo in August

I've never done a show before, what suggestions can you give me?
Oh, we’ve got lots of info for you, from our vendor handbook and information sessions to vendor training videos. Whatever the question – ask and we’ll get you an answer.

You won’t be going through this solo. We feel that we don’t put on a successful show unless you have a successful show.

What time can I load in?
Load-in starts at 7 a.m. Sunday. There are several ways to come into the convention area, at Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North. Please see the Unloading section.

Your shows are always GREAT!! ... I had fun with all the brides. Talked to a lot of them. Let me know on your next show.
— Nathan Duran, Too Hot to Stop

Can I come in on Saturday night?
We can make some special arrangements - possibly... but no promises. But check with Stacy.

Also, we're not responsible for any valuables you leave overnight. The ballroom will be locked but sometimes things happen, so save the valuables for Sunday.

Where can we get something to eat?
There are restaurants and a great buffet Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North. They're open Sunday a.m.

Does being an Expo vendor mean I'm in the Wedding Guide?
No, but being in the show does get you a discount for a Wedding Guide ad.

Does being an Expo vendor mean my business is listed on the website?
Yes. We have Expo vendors and links to your sites under the show you're participating in & in the Wedding Pros section on the WeddingGuideNM.com site. Please check the links to make sure that they're going to the right pages.

Announcing prizes during the Expo
If you've got a prize you'd like to give away, let us know on Sunday a.m. Please write it down and put your name on the paper too and we'll announce it before / after the fashion shows. If you'd like us to do some kind of game to win it, we'll be happy to do that - or we can just pick names out of any container you've collected names.

What's the Color of the Booths?
We're not doing booths - it'll just be table tops with an ivory skirting. You'll also have 2 chairs. If you need anything else, just let us know.

FAQs for the New Mexico Wedding Expo in January

I've never done a show before, what suggestions can you give me?
We want you to excel at our Expo. That's why we host free vendor training sessions several days before the show – one in the morning, and another after business hours to accommodate as many of our exhibitors as possible.

The trade show experts from Exhib-it! will help you understand how to approach potential customers, how to set up your booth, how to qualify your leads and even how to follow up. The 2-hour morning session is at Exhib-it!, 6207 Pan American Freeway NE in Albuquerque. A condensed second session will be at Isleta, following the vendor information meeting during the evening. Exact dates and times will be announced. We want you to be ready for the show!

What time can I load in?
Load-in starts at 7 a.m. Sunday. You're assigned a specific loading dock based on your booth position so we have less traffic jams at the doors. Click here for a schematic of the loading docks.

Honestly, this was THE BEST show we have ever participated in. I had fantastic leads, and we had a great time.
— Tiffany Ficklin, Bravo Alpha Events

Can I come in on Saturday night?
We have been able to make some special arrangements at past Expos, but no promises. Be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any valuables you leave overnight. Although the ballroom will be locked overnight, please save the valuables for Sunday.

Does being an Expo vendor mean I'm in the Wedding Guide?
No. We do produce an e-discount book that we send out twice to all registered brides, as well as have on the website for several months. You'll get more info about deadlines for the e-discount book.

But being in the show does get you a discount for a Wedding Guide ad. The Wedding Guide is distributed year-round through wedding-related businesses and at all three of our bridal fairs. The Wedding Guide is the only publication allowed to be distributed at our Expos.

Does being an Expo vendor mean my business is listed on the website?
Yes. We have Expo vendors and links to your sites under the show you're participating in & in the Wedding Pros section on the WeddingGuideNM.com site. Please check the links to make sure that they're going to the right pages.

Giving away Prizes during the Expo
If you've got a prize you'd like to give away, please let us know by Jan. 4. That way we can get it posted on the website. If you would like to draw for a prize yourself, that's fine, but if you'd like to be in large prize drawing that we give out during the show, please let us know that by Jan. 4 as well.

What's the Color of the Booths?
We're keeping with cream and burgundy we used last year. To see those colors go to: css.com

What is this listing in the program?
We do a program for our January show that lists all of the vendors and formatted information about you. Each bride gets a copy, as well as extras for the people helping plan the wedding. We cannot take pre-designed ads and the ads are listed alphabetically. They include your logo, the company name, address, phone, email and website. We take care of all of the production, but because of the large number of vendors we can’t send them back to you to proof unless you specifically request a proof.
